LONELY END.
WOMAN FOUND DEAD.
FULLY DRESSED ON HER BED.
CHILD COLD AND SLEEPING.
HUSBAND'S TRAGIC DISCOVERY.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. When William Angell returned home from a sporting trip on Lake Roto ETitt at 5.30 last evening he found his wife, Muriel Ida. Angell, lying dead fully dressed on her bed, and beside her was their little daughter, aged 21 years, lying asleep. Mr. Angell left home at 8.30 in the morning of Saturday last. It is impossible to say at present juncture how long his wife had been dead. The child was cold and stiff when found but hungry. It had evidently been crying. The woman was 45 years of age and was in her usual state of health when her husband saw her last. There are on marks of violence on the body. The house is at a very lonely spot, the nearest neighbour being three miles away. J he police were informed at six o'clock hist evening, and they brought the body to the morgue for further investigation.
