THE AUCKLAND CLUB
The Auckland Coursing Club held its third carnival on the enclosure of the Auckland Trotting Club's property at Mangere on Saturday, when two stakes were decided. In spite of the boisterous conditions there was a fair attendance and some good coursing was witnessed. Second All-age Stakes.—Winners, £12 ; runner-up, £5; and two dogs at £22/ each. Third round: J. Crowley's Sunshade beat W. Sheeran's Glimpse; A. Hotham's Master McGrath beat J. Shanks' Silver Tip; A. Baird's Rodwell beat W. L. Smith's Wop; J. Reeves' Australian Beauty beat M. Fletcher's Karapoti; H. Solomon's Flying Tui beat W. L. Smith's Royal Lancer; B. Goldsworthy's Country King beat G. Bentley's Silver King; L. McCroy's Gold Flake beat A. E. Morris' Flying Queen. First ties. Master McGrath beat Sunshade, Rodwell beat Australian Beauty, Country King beat Flying Tui Gold Flake a bye. Second ties: Master McGrath beat Rodwell, Country King beat Gold Flake. Deciding course: Master McGrath beat Country King. Third Maiden Stakes.—Winner, £9; runner-up, £3; two dogs at £1 10/ each. Third round : M. Fletcher's Majestic Force beat A. J.
