WELLINGTON, Tuesday.; Cabled advice received from Broken Hill South, Limited, by the New Zealand Stock Exchange Association stated that a dividend of 1/ a share had been declared, payable in Melbourne on August 12. The dividend will bo paid out of profits derived from sources other than mining at Broken Hill. At the present metal prices operations at the mine are being conducted at a loss. A dividend of 1/ a share was paid by the company on April 15. Last year two dividends of 1/3 a share were paid. MOTUROA OILFIELDS. Moturoa Oilfields, Ltd., which is operating at New Plymouth, reports as follows for the week ended Juno 11.— Moturoa No. 2 -well produced 120 barrels of oil by self-flow (4200 Imperial gallons). Production is retarded through the cold weather causing the paraffin to set and clog the tubing. The total production to date is 180,989 Imperial gallons.
