LAWN TENNIS.
PUKEROA CLUB
A large number of members of the Pnfceroa Lawn Tennis Club and their friends ■were present at a tournament to celebrate president's day. Ninety members took part the winner of (he ladies' prize being Miss ,T. Bishop, of the Kawhiti Ctab, and the men's prize was won by J. Harrison, of the Koyal Oak Club. The president, Mr. C. S. Lees presented prizes won during the summer season to the championship winners : —lien's singles B. Brownlie; ladies' singles, Mrs. Henry • men's doubles. Wade and .Tebb; ladies* doubles, Mrs. gtenry and Miss McGlnley combined doublesV Mrs. Smart and Cornes' The club's B team was congratulated on winning the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's grade championship.
