MEMORIAL WINDOW BEQUEST
HONOURING EX-SERVICEMEN
GIFT TO ORPHANAGE,
Probate was granted in the Supreme Court to-day of the will of Miss Maria Margaret Corry, of Remuera, who died on April 10 last. The gross value of the estate is £12,000.
Miss Corry lert £200 to the trustees of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Remuera, to be invested as the nucleus of a fund for the purpose of installing a stained glass window in the new church in memory of members, or relatives of members of the church who died in the Great War, and whose names appear on the Roll of Honour.
She also left £200 to the trustees of the Leslie Presbyterian Orphanage at Remuera, for investment, the annual interest therefrom to be paid to the ladies' committee of the church for the benefit of the children. Miss Corry bequeathed her marble clock to the Knox Home for Incurables. The balance of the estate is bequeathed to relatives.
