ROWING.
UNIVERSITY CLUB. The fifth annual general meeting of the Auckland University College Rowing Club was held at the University College on Monday night. Mr. F. V. Simmons presided over an enthusiastic gathering of thirty members, including several new-comers. " The executive's report traced the clubs progress during the past twelve months, and stressed the Tact that this was much retarded by difficulties of finance. The election of officers resulted :—President Mr. M. Rocke O'Shea ; vice-presidents, Sir Geo. Fowlds, Professor R. M. Algie, T>r W. H. Horton; captain, Mr. J. K. Hunn; Deputy captain, Mr. A. G. Ross; secretary, Mr. U N. Ross; treasurer. Mr. F G Bowling; executive, Messrs. 1. I'. Simmons O. J. C. Mason, R. W. Chappell and 1I T. Lee; auditor, Mr. D. U Robinson ; delegates to A.R.A. Messrs. L. E. Brooker, J. K. Hunn and A. G. Ross.
