AUSTIN CAR CLUB.
.The Austin Car Club will hold its annual meeting and election of new officers on Monday, June 20, at 7.45 p.m., at Mies Aitkenhead's tearooms, opposite the Auckland Hospital. The year .just ending has been a remarkably successful one for the club, finances having been improved and a number of new members enlisted. Runs were undertaken further afield than formerly to Coromandel, Muriwai and Bethels, all of which were well attended. The sports meeting at the Mangere Aerodrome, the first annual ball, and the 90-mile reliability trial for the .Sir Herbert Austin Cup also proved highly successful. The Sir Herbert Austin Cup was won, far the first time, by Mr. Barry Ingall. After the meeting and election of officers supper will be provided, after which an interesting and illustrated talk will be given.
