Professor and Mrs. Dunlop, of Dunedin, are spending a holiday in Tauranga. Mrs. G. Mathias, of Sydney, is on a visit to Auckland, and is at tlie Station Hotel. * * * * Miss L. Snodgrass, who has been visiting relatives in Ivatikati, has returned to Tauranga. • » « * Mrs. W. Orr, of Taupo, who has been staying with friends in Tauranga, has returned home. * * » * Mrs. Leicester Matson and Mrs. Allan Matson, of Christchurcli, are staying at the Grand Hotel, j * * # * Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Maltby, who have been on a motoring tour to Wellington, have returned to Tauranga. • Mrs. J. E. Montague-Riccard, who has been visiting Wellington and Christchurch, has returned to Auckland. Faulkner, of Matakana Island, Tauranga, have returned home after spending a holiday at the Chateau Tongariro. * * ♦ * Mrs. 11. A. Lawrence, late of Dell Avenue, Remuera, is now living at Stonehurst prior to sailing by the Niagara, on July 12, for London. » * * * Mrs. L. Flower, of Matamata, is spending a holiday in Auckland, where she judged entries in the needlework section held in conjunction with the New Zealand Pekingese and Persian Cat Club's show on Saturday. * * * * Vice-Admiral Sir Edward HeatonEllis, K.C.8,. and Lady Heaton-Ellis, of 20, Upper Brook Street, London, left on a visit to New Zealand by the Rangitiki on June 2. They intend going straight on from Auckland to Queensland to visit relations in that Australian State, and returning to New Zealand in November, will spend two or throe months in the Dominion. Sir Edward is a keen sportsman, and will try out trout fishing and deer stalking in New Zealand. The arrangements for his tour have been in the hands of the Government Tourist Department.
