OTHER PRIZE AWARDS AT SHOW.

"Best eat in the show" was the title bestowed upon Princess Betty, the handsome long-haired blue Persian owned by Mrs. B. Alison, of Dcvonport. Princess Betty, besides winning the championship, won first prizes for best brood queen, open female class, blue and breeders. Her progeny won the first and best kitten awards. The runner-up was the silver-coated Digger the Second, exhibited by Mrs. B. E. Dally, of Christchurch. Digger the Second was the best in the male class.

Tho show, which was held in the Unity Hall under the auspices of the New Zealand Pekinese and Persian Cat Club, was one of the most successful, yet held in the Dominion, and certainly a. record one so far as Auckland was concerned. Over 135 cats were entered, and, according to the judge, Mr. J. Langridge, of Wellington, the exhibits were of a very high standard, lie was particularly pleased with the white class, and bestowed superlatives on the magnificent specimens which came first and second in the class for best cat in the show.
