CANADA'S WHEAT.
FRENCH MARKET INSECURE. (Received 1 p.m.) OTTAWA, June 10. Declaring that Canada is committing commercial suicide, M. Jules Carterton, the French Consul here, in an interview before leaving for France, etated that Canada needs wheat markets, but France can buy as well from Argentina. He indicates the possibility of a rift in the renewal of the expiring French-Canadian treaty.
