SUBSIDY PLAN DISCUSSED. AWARD WAGES SOUGHT. DEPUTATION TO WELLINGTON. The sub-coiiiinittcc set up by the Auckland building trade industry met this morning to consider correspondence iVoin other. , -centres *in regard to a suggestion tlif.t a deputation should l>e received l>y the Unemployment Board before fixing details of the proposed subsidy seliemo. Information was received that a deputation would be received by the board next Thursday, The correspondence from the other centres .indicated a desire on the part of employers and employees for proper supervision of the scheme, and that award rates should be',paid. The Federated Master Builders' Association considered that the question of making representations to the board should l>e left to individual organisations, and thus the sub-committee decided that no good purpose could bo served by n joint meeting of employers and employees sit tlm present stage. The opinion expressed that employers and employees should hold separate meetings and that, if necessary, a joint meeting should bo bold on the return lit' the deputation from Wellington,,
