OUR WEEKLY MOTTO.
From the fair number of entries recmved for this v/eek's motto competition, the work of Ellen Mnr-donnld, 27. England Street, Ponsonby, -was awarded the .usual half-crown prize. Other grotfd maxims were submitted by Gladys Kappely mid Gladys Boyd.
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, And the road you're trudging seems all uphill, And cares are pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must—but don't you quit.
