In the middle are three natives, each riding , on an eJephant, and an arched canopy is over the man in the middle, whilst a baby elephant walks beside the third elephant from the left. The stamp is post marked, (b) How much is an American doller worth in English money? — (a) This stamp is catalogued at 1/3. (b) At the present time the American dollar is worth 0/0 in Kng-lish money. ■

C.R.o.J. Inquires the cost or a seoond-cla-ss ticket to Capetown, South Africa.—A second-class fare to South Africa would cost £5(1 1.0/. No boat goes direct from Auckland to South Africa, but this cost includes a lirst-dass fare from Auckland to Sydney, and a second-class from Sydney to Capetown. Only one boat every six months carries second-class passengers. A third-class fare would cost only £23, whilst a first-class ticket could be purchased Tor £7i 10/.
