SOCCER AT BLANDFORD. HARD TUSSLES EXPECTED. FIXTURE CARD FOR TO-MORROW. ■ The senior grade championship competition will complete its first round with the games to-morrow. The suburban team this season has greatly improved the respect in which it is held as a eenior combination by merit of its performances. Though defeated last Saturday in one of the best games of the season, the team's display was gratifying to its supporters. The young players who comprise the side have gained much in experience and ability in the past two seasons, and in addition to being fast and fit are assimilating understanding between the different sections. They will have strong opposition in Y.M.C.A., who are at the top of tho competition equal with Thistle. The New Lynn players have repeatedly been commended for their pluck, and their opponents to-morrow will bo injudicious in taking anything for granted regarding the result of the match.
