PAKURANGA HUNT.
A GREAT RUN. NEARLY TWO HOURS. The Pakuranga Hunt met at East Tamaki Hall yesterday, when an excellent day's sport was provided, one hare giving the riders a run of an hour and threequarters, which was the beet experienced bo far this season. The hounds first found in the property of Mr. F. Wright, and after a fast run over Mr. A. Sherry's farm the hare went across the Flat Bush Road to Mr. Bell's land, and on to Mr. C. Preston'e place, where it was lost in some scrub. A eecond hare was put up on Mr. Wright's farm, but was killed before it got going. The run of the season was provided by ft third hare, which was raised on the same property. The hare traversed the farms of Messrs. T. H. Phillips and J. Ross, and went across a creek, continuing on over the properties of Messrs. KL. Ross and E. Woods. It then ran over the Howick road into Mr. C. Allen'e farm, and across the Green Mount Road to the Green Mount estate. It continued on.over Mr. Whyte'e land, and over the creek on to Mr. W. Guv's farm, doubling back across the creek, and running through the Greenmount estate again, and across the road near the Tamaki School to Mr. Cunnold's farm. The hounds followed on to Mr. Smale's property, and on to Mr. Swaffield's, finally catching the hare on the back of tlio farm near an arm of the Tamaki River. About a dozen ridere were in at the kill, including the master, Mr. 11. Bullock-Webster, and the huntsman, Mr. P. Smith. A further draw was unsuccessful, and the followers returned to the kennele, where afternoon tea was provided by Mrs. Smith. Followers included the master of the hunt, Mr. H. Bullock-Webster, on TallyHo; the huntsman, Mr. P. H. Smith, on Harkaway; Mr. J. Ryall, of Tβ Kuiti, on Merry Maid; Mr. O. Self, on Thelina; Mr. W. Gore, of Clevedon, on Scottie; Mr. J. McPherson, on Waitaka; Mr. W. Wilson, on Mariena; Mr. A. Walker, on Half and Half; Mr. G. Allen, on Crusader: Mr. R. Townsend, 'on Racer; and Mr. C. Wallace, on Jumbo. Lady riders included Mrs. J.
