OTAHUHU FIRE BRIGADE.
REPORT BY INSPECTOR. There has been a movement in Otahulm for some time to secure a reduction in fire premiums, and Captain T. J. Watts, advisory superintendent of the United Tire Brigade Association, and inspector of the Underwriters'. Association, visited Otahuhu on Tuesday evening. He inspected the plant of the fire brigade, and put tho members through their fire prevention exercises. He described the organisation aa "most efficient," and said he would forward a very complimentary report. At the annual meeting of the Otahuhu Fire Brigade, held the same evening, Vice-superintendent A. Eustace was elected superintendent in place of Mr. E. Ander, who is transferring t# the Mount Roskill Fire Brigade. Fireman C. Wilson was elected vice-superintendent. Mr. F. Bennett re-elected foreman, and Mr. K. Todd secretary.
