HUNT FARM SOLD.
UNSUCCESSFUL VENTURE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, Wednesday, 'tho Waikato Hunt Committee, as instructed at the annual meeting hold before a representative attendance recently, has disposed of the farm of 97 acres at Bruntwood to a neighbouring farmer, Mr. IT. S. Duncan. The price per acre is about £45. The committee also sold its Shorthorn herd and its sheep at this week's local stock sale, but the prices obtained for tho herd were very low as compared with the values shown on the balancesheet at the annual meeting. Tho sale of the farm ends a most unsuccessful venture in farming on the part of the Iftiiit, covering a period of six years.
