GOLDEN DAWN. The following is tlie mine report for two ] weeks ending May 21 :—No. 3 level: Crossput east, off No. 3 reef, has been extended < n2ft. total 165 ft. Two smaller leaders, j six inches wide, were out, carrying values, j The country rock, is still of a splendid class j for carrying reefs, being interlaced vvitll ( quartz stringers and mineral veins. No. 2 . level: Kise on No. 1 reef, from South end, has been risen 10ft, total 10ft, and the main timbers put in. The reef here averages oft wide, and the ore broken is of good value. No. 3 level: Sloping has ; been carried on in four blocks, on No. 1 ; reef, with machines working three shifts. Tho reef here averages 2ft Gin wide, and ; the ore broken is of very good value. No. 3 level : Stopmg has been carried on on No. 3 reef with machines working three shifts. The reef here averages 3ft wide and the oro is of very fair value.
