WRECKED LAUNCH.
CREW RETURN TO AUCKLAND. It is not yet known whether an attempt is to be made to salvage the 32ft fishing launch Mirelht, which struck a. rock and sank off Goat Island, near Point Rodney, on Tuesday evening. It was learnt this morning that the mast of tho alunch could still be seen. Tho crew of the launch, who had to make a hasty escape in the launch's dinghy, Messrs. H. Wilson, G. H. Wilson and A. Ellis, returned to Auckland last evening. They were none the worse for their experience.
