SUNDAY PICTURES.
According to the Bible we should not work on Sunday, but it does not say that we should not enjoy ourselves. I would rather go to see a historical picturo than play poker all day long on our puritanical Sabbath. I know that some people, including myself, are too tired to see a picture on week days. Should we be deprived of a cinema we love? I would suggest that 50 per cent of the price of tickets should be taken off by the Government for unemployment relief. Our Sunday should be a day of cheerfulness and recreation, as in other civilised parts of the world. F. KLIMAN".
