MOTOR CYCLE MISHAPS.
Mr. L. Sehofield, of 2(5, Rockland Avenue, Dominion Road, received concussion when his motor cycle collided with the back of a motor car at tlie corner of Brixton and Dominion Roads at 7.45 this morning. He was riding into the city behind the car, when it suddenly swerved outward to avoid a milk float at the corner of the two roads. The cyclist was apparently unaware that tlie car had swerved, and so crashed into it and was thrown heavily to the ground. He was taken by tlie St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not serious. Another motor cyclist, Mr. J. Phillips, of 38, Western Springs Road, as tlie result of his machine skidding in Dundonald Road, Newton, about 11.30 last night, was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance suffering from head injuries and concussion. His case is not serious.
