MINING NEWS.
GOLDEN DAWN. At the annual meeting of Golden Dawn Gold Mines, Ltd., held to-day, the directors' report, and balance-sheet were adopted. Messrs. W. F. McCallum and B. M. Myers were reappiontod directors, and Messrs. T. J. Spry and Co. were appointed auditors. PADDY'S POINT. Tlie Paddy's Point Gold Mining Company, Limited, reports that at the mine in Central Otago a paddock was completed at the heginning of last week and yielded a total of OOJozs. The total time since the completion of the previous paddock is over live weeks and the actual sluicing time was 27 days.
