SIX ALREADY BROKEN. Although the record breaking season har only just opened, six world's figures have already been obtained on Montlhery track, this equalling the total number of records in the world's category obtained during 1931. George Eyston, Kaye Don, E. A. D. Eldridge and A. Denly, driving a'five-litre Delage, made an attack on a series of records, chief among wlucli were the 12 24, 48 and 72 hour figures. After beatin'" the 12-hour international figures, however, mechanical trouble ensued, but by then six world's records had been obtained and three in International Clara C The drivers did not ha\e much t spare in some instances. I'or example, the 500-kiloin. figures were only beaten by .08 m.p.h., the three-hours by .03 m p.h. and the 1000 kiloms. by .82 m.p.h. On the other hand, the drivers were unlucky to miss the 200-mile worlds record by .20 m.p.h the 500-m.le by just under 1 m.p.h. and the 12-houi by .79 m.n.li.
