Mr. D. Bradley confesses general irritation with my last letter, and he, missing the point, finds solace in tears. My former observations arc correct, and I still continue t<7 draw attention to the undesirability of the City Council setting the sad precedent of allowing any branch under its administration to appoint its own controlling officer, to wit, the choir selecting its choirmaster.
