INTER-ISLAND RUGBY.
NOMINATIONS CLOSE MAY 28. (By Telegraph.—'Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, this day.
Regarding the Otago Rugby Unions action in wiring to the New Zealand Union for information with regard to the nomination of South Island players for the inter-Island match on June 4, a decision that nominations were to reach the New Zealand Union not later than noon of May 28, wae made at a meeting of the New Zealand Union management committee on April 20. Affiliated unions were advised accordingly, and supplied with nomination papers.
