LADIES' ASSOCIATIONS.
Mrs. Nash presided over a good attendance at the weekly meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Hockey Association, at which delegates from King Country, Piako and Whangarei were also in attendance. An application for affiliation from Waihi was granted, and it was decided to ask Miss Mavis Brown to act as delegate. Entries for the King's Birthday tourney close on May 31. One senior and one intermediate junior team will be entered for the Auckland Provincial Cup competitions. A report from Wellington delegates stated that the Rotorua Association hoped to annex territory now belonging to the Auckland Association in the Bay of Plenty district. It was resolved not to prevent the associations concerned joining up with Rotorua if they so desirgd.
