AUSTRALIAN EVENTS. SYDNEY, April 25. The Victorian eight won the King's Cup race from New South Wales .on Saturday by three lengths. West Australia was a length away and South Australia was fourth, Queensland, fifth and Tasmania sixth. Time, 15.0 1-5. . f The Australian sculling championship was won by Turner (Now South Wales) from Richardson (Queensland) and Peppier (Victoria). However, as two boats bumped and anotlier was involved in a collision with a sightseers' steamer the race was rowed again to-day. The result was :—Turner 1, F.cauchamp 2, Peppier 3. Richardson was disqualified for interference.
