LAYING THE CABLE.
WORK AT MURIWAL
Work is continuing in connection with laying the cable at Muriwai, and during the past few days a land party has been working clearing sand away from the cable house. The cable steamer Recorder is standing by, and from the shore can be seen out on the horizon.
