DRUNK ON ANZAC DAY.
DISORDERLY STOREMAN FINED. "This man was outside the Ponsonby police station yesterday afternoon, hanging on to the fence and shouting," said Detective-Sergeant Kelly concerning Leopold Arthur Cadman Purdy, aged 4G, storeman, who appeared in the Police Court to-day on a charge of being drunk and disorderly in Jervois Road. "Outside the police station?" asked the magistrate. "Yes, he wasn't far from home," said Mr. Kelly, (Laughter.) Purdy was fined £1, or three days' imprisonment. ,
