The board who chose the new stomps from the large number submitted is to be congratulated, as it he chosen something uuikuiu and out of the common. I venture to say that if the new stamps are engraved and printca in two colours they will be a great success with philatelists and very profitable to tne Government. Many foreign countries are now printing stamps in two colours, so way cannot we? " The 3/ one in this set is a very beautiful stamp, and I would like to see UU» one made the iiinepcnny, and the nmepew altered to 3/. The latter are rarely seen, ana if it is not too late it will he a wise eW over. COUNTRY PHILATELIbT.
