Although the steamers Tamaroa and Waimarino, from the South, were able to get in, the Union Company's R.M.m.s Aorangi, which was due at Auckland from Sydney this morning, ran into thick weather outside the Gulf, and » lying hove-to. The last message from the Aoranoi. received at Auckland at 1.27 p.m. j. day was: "We are hove-to, Mokohunn bearing 220 degrees, distant 24 mij e5 The wind is east-south-east, with h[ a \ seas and a heavy swell. Visibility "j, low." When that message was sent, th Aorangi was approximately SO 'mile S from Auckland, so she is unlikely .t 0 make port until late this evening', gu was originally announced to sail f or Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu, at 11 a.m. to-morrow, but lier departure has been postponed meanwhile to 3 p.m
