TWO SERIOUS CHARGES.
Charges of carnal knowledge and indecent assault were heard by judges and juries in the Supreme Court this morning. Thomas Henry Tucker appeared before Mr. Justice Herdman on charges of indecent assault on males at Paeroa. The case was still being heard this afternoon. Gordon Wilkins was charged before Mr. Justice Smith and a jury with carnally knowing a girl of 15 years, attempting to carnally know a girl, and unlawfully supplying a noxious thing, with intent. He pleaded not guilty. The case was (continued this afternoon.
