LUCKY ESCAPE.
A waterside worker, Mr.'A. Williamson, who resides at 5, Wellington Street, City, fell down the hold of the steamer Huntingdon last evening and escaped serious injury, although 40 or 50 boxes of, butter fell immediately after from the sling poised above the hold. The boxes fell all round him, but he suffered only a bruised ankle.
