CASE DISMISSED.
ITESUGENT DROVING CHARGE. DEATH OF A PASSENGER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. In the Magistrate's Court S. R. Bramwell, of FeUding, was charged to-day with negligent driving on December 19, causing the death of Valentine Hewitt. The evidence showed that the accused was an experienced and capable driver and a total abstainer, but, when urged on by one of the occupants of his car, he drove on, to come later into collision with the side of a bridge. Hewitt, who was a passenger, was killed. The presiding justices stated that on the evidence they did not hesitate to dismiss the information.
