TWO SAILORS INJURED.
CYCIJB COLLIDES WITH BUS. DRIVER'S THUMB TORN OFF. Two sailors, Messrs. E. B. Crainn and W. G. Gallagher, both of H.M.s. Dioniede, suffered severe head injuries and lacerations shortly after 10.30 this morning, when the motor cycle on which they were riding down Hobson Street crashed into a Farmers' Trading ComjKiny bus, which was. parked outside the entrance to the company's building. Botli riders were flung from the cycle, and Gallagher caught his band between the chain and the framework and had his thumb wrenched off. They were taken to the Auckland Hospital Aby the St. John Ambulance, and their condition is reported to be serious.
