CORNWALL CLUB. The Cornwall I'igcon Flying Club on Saturday flew the lirst race of tlie young bird season from lluntlv, nn airline distance of 54 miles, the winning bird being Mr. A. Crawford's r c h Arncalix, which llow the distance in 1 hour 19 minutes. Results Mr. A. Crawford's re h ArnCaux, 1150.5 yards ' per minute 1 Messrs. Whitley and McVlniiie's b c b Queen of Clubs, 1130.1 yds 2 Mr. F. Sissons' r h. Psyche, 1137 yds .'i Also flew : Birds owned by Mr. R.' Wattain, 1132vds; Mr. F. Mctiean. 1101 yds; Mr. C. l'oung, 1085 yds; Mr. J. Franks, 1020 yds. MANUNUI CLUB. The Manunul Homing- Figeon Club flew the first race of tlie young bird season on Saturday from Marton Junction. The birds were liberated in fine weather, with a strong westerly wind, and after a flight of 2h 2in 80s the winning bird homed. Results :— I). Wilson's 151ue Deamon, 1161.1 yds . 1 It. I'atterson's Lady Noreen, HG-i.Dyds i! J. Knutt's Starlight, 1100.0 yds !> .1. Davis' Martian Chief, 1150.5yd5, and H. Tricklebunk's Redllight, 1112.1 yds, were next. Next Week the race will he from Te Awamutu, for a trophy donated by Mr. J. Davis. POINT CHEVALIER CLUB. The Point Chevalier X'igeon Club flew its lirst race oC the young bird season from Ilunfly.
