ANTIQUE wins again. paganelli scores in anniversary. The summer meeting of the Takapuna T ,l-pv Club was concluded at Devonport £ Saturday in fine though windy weather ire was a good attendance and the r „le was in excellent order. Putting in a great run, Antique led' into the straieht from Gay Cockade, Brampton, Limeen, Mosque. Royal Artist and Chromodyne. Antique won nice y from Royal Artist by hair a length, the little fancied Moque being a length and a half away in third place. Chief Joy was fourth, and then came Gay Cockade, Brampton, Limeen. Grand Talk, Chromadyne and Sir Mond. The Juveniles. The only scratching for the Hobson Handicap "was Ornamental". Bambury, after his good win on Friday, was made favourite with £783, Miss Lorraine the second favourite with £566, and Te Waipu £513, but the public were astray this time in their selections, for none of the three fancied horses finished in a place. Whirlalong was quickest to find her feet, and led along the back from Mis Lorraine, Te Waipu, Gigantic, Bambury..Letitia and Directory. Crossing the top Whirlalong, Bambury and Miss Lorraine were together well out from Te Waipu, Gigantic, Letitia and Directory. Whirlalong was first into the straight from Miss Lorraine, Giganti'c, Bambury and Letitia. Gigantic came through well, and got up to win by three-quarters of a length from Letitia and Whirlalong, who dead-heated for second. Te Waipu was fourth, and Miss Lorraine, Bambury and Directory came in in that order. Bambury/Rot his tongue over the bit, and this caused him to drop back crossing the fop. The Biggest Dividend. The biggest dividend of the meeting was paid Dy Glen Rata when lie accounted for the Rangitoto Hack. Glen Rata went out with only £67 10/ on liis chance, the favourite being Pateena (£605). Alloy carried £579 and Grand Spirit £535. Ejcalus, Neil and Alpina were not started. Whakapara was in front as the field passed the stands from Grand Spirit, Pateena, Glen Rata, Paper Dart, Gay Idea, Speedfast, Alloy and Excella Tea. Glen Rata had run to the front going along the back, Whakapara being next, and then followed Pateena, Paper Dart and Gay Idea. Across the top Glen Rata and Paper Dart were disputing leadership, Pateena being just in behind, and then came Whakapara, Grand Spirit, Alloy and Speedfast. Glen Rata was first into the straight from Paper Dart, Pateena, Whakapara and Gay Idea, and managed to hang on to win from Alloy by a neck. The favourite was three lengths away, third. Paper Dart wa« beaten into fourth place, and then came Gay Idea, Grand Spirit and Excella Tea.

Paganelli At Last. Refresher, Te Money and Gay Idea did Dot start in the Anniversary Handicap, for which Eager Rose went out favourite, tarrying £851, the next best backed being tianpat £664, and Leitrim £478. Paganelli Carried £439. Paganelli, who drew the t'i , e ß an smartly, and led along the rack from Leitrim, Ganpat, Puriri Park, ™gir Rose and Sir Mond. Paganelli was dear of Ganpat as they crossed the top, and the latter ■ had a good break on P' n 'in Park, Eager Rose 'and Sir ■uond. There was no change as they turned for home, and Pagarrlli went on to win by two lengths from Ganpat, with leitrim four lengths away.
