A bridge party was given on Wednesday evening at the home of Miss Bessie Vickery in honour of Miss Eila Guy, who is leaving Hamilton. The prizes were won by Miss Monekton and Dr. Colbeek. Those present included: Miss Eila Guy, Mrs. R. D. McFarland, Misses E. Ward, S. Medhurst (Auckland), A. Bell, K. Oliver, M. Ross, C. Chitty, N. Pittar, B. Manning, V. Watts, T. Monekton, M. Macauley (Gisborne). On Wednesday afternoon Mrs. H. J. Ferguson gave a farewell afternoon tea for Miss Eila Guy, who is leaving New Zealand for England, where her marriage will take place. Mrs. Ferguson wore a floral crepe de chine frock and smart straw hat; Miss E. Guy, ivory crepe de cliine and hat to tone. Others present included: Mrs. R. G. Guy, Misses E. Sinclair, N. Pittar, C. Gray, H. Heywood, D. Hall, Macauley (Giebornc). E. Hammond, G. Berant (Auckland), E. Ward, D. Yule, B. Manning, C. Chitty, M. Roche, E. Hume, T. Monekton, B. Vickery, B. Taylor (Ohaupo), J. Peacocke, Z. Pabst (Auckland), K. Oliver (Matangi), Stevens, G. Hammond. The competitions were won by Miss Eila Guy and Miss K. Oliver.
