USED COUNCIL'S MONEY. • (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON", Saturday. . John K. Gordon Apperly, town clerk of the Motueka Borough Council, who pleaded not guilty to a charge of eonverting to his own use £26 19/, the property of the council, was to-day convicted and admitted to probation for months. Accused refunded the money after ih« ( shortage was discovered by a Government auditor.
