Death Roil of Over One Hundred And Eighty. CLOUDBURST IN LOS AKGELES, NEW YORK, December 27. At least IS9 people -were killed in tie United Slates during tie observance of Christinas. Tie majority lost their lives in motoring accidents. A cloudburst swept Los Angeles and a heavy wind wrecked garages, unroofed buildings av.d uprooted trees. Torrential rain fell and turned the streets of the suburb of Culver City into veritable rivers 2ft deep. The city of Long Beach also was mandated. A street comer in Los Angeles "was washed out and poles and live wiresfell spluttering into the street. Two creupants of a car were killed and seven persons ; five of them belonging to one family, were killed when a train strack a car loaded with halidavi makers at Batavia, New York. There were 222 traffic accidents in various parts of the country.
