(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CARTERTON, Saturday. The South Wairarapa Trotting Club's meeting to-day was favoured with particularly fine weather. The course was fast, and there was a fair attendance. In the Wairarapa-Cup Highland Derby fell, upsetting Sailor Boy, in the first round. Both horses were injured, but neither driver was hurt. In the Boxing Day Handicap King Bruce, after leading for three-quarters of a mile, slipped. Second Choice fell over the wrecked sulky, tossing the driver, F. Scrimgeour, high over the fence and breaking his arm. The totalisator figures were £5144, compared with £7485 last year.
