GREY LYNN DIFFERENCES.
Mr. A. G. Hultquist, chairman of Mr. J. A. Lee's election committee, writes:— "In the report of Mr. F. 2s. Bartram's meeting there is a reference to statements made regarding myself and Mr. John A. Lee. the official Labour candidate in the Grey Lynn electorate. I desire to state that Mr. Bartram's utterances, a≤ reported, are neither complete nor correct, and are misleading. The report might make it appear that I am behind Mr. Bartram's candidature, whereas I am chairman of Mr. Lee's election committee, and am still the president of the Grey Lynn branch of the Xew Zealand Labour party. While Mr. Lee refuses, to be drawn into a personal squabble, preferring to fight the contest on the political issue. I think in fairness to Mr. Lee and to myself that I am entitled to have this published."
