Symoudsville Studio was beautifully decorated last evening when Mr. H. T. Merritt and Mrs. Merritt entertained a number of guests to welcome their son, Mr. H. G. Chisholm Merritt (who is on furlough) to Auckland, arid also in honour of the recent coming of age of their younger son, Mr. F. E. Roy Merritt. The supper tables were arranged with tall stands of pink and red carnations and sweet peas. Mrs. Merritt received her guests in a peacock blue souple satin, with decoration of fresh tulips.
