BLOCKHOUSE BAY.
FORESHORE RECLAMATION, Expressing the opinion that the preeent council was overlooking promises made by the previous one, the secretary of the Blockhouse Bay Improvement Association, in a letter before the City Council last evening, asked that an effort be. made to start the work of protecting and reclaiming the foreshore at Blockhouse Bay. The' association suggested the work could be done with labour under scheme five, and added that those who had contributed £100 were anxious to know when a start would be made with the work. It was decided that the parks committee, should visit the bay and provide a report.
