I A report, that the AAA. is actively opposed to the Tama id "iacht Clubs pr-J-" 1 posal to build a clubhouse at Bastion Point was mentioned at last night s meetinr by ilr. Johnston, who asked that a resolution denying the report be put to the tmeeting. "Yachtsmen consider that the waterfront road w£= built solely lor the bene- | fit of motorists,"' said Mr. Johns ton. "It has cut them off from all the beaches and bays along that foreshore, and Bastion Point is the only place left that is suitable for their purpose." The president, Mr. H. Hutchison. "It has nothing to do with the AAA., and • for that reason I suggest that the motion . is out of order.
