A native named John Hita, aged 17 I years, who pleaded guilty, was convicted j on a charire of theft of £ 20. the property !of J. Righton, of Honga. Hita was sent !to a Borstal Institute for a period of j three rears. I A well-known Maori of the Kaihu dis- | trict, A. Bunzan. dropped dead on Friday j night when dancing a haka as a prelude i to a Plunket dance. An inquest is to be j held. | =========
