BAPTIST SUNDAY SCHOOL.
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS.
The seventy-third anniversary of the Baptist Tabernacle Sunday School was celebrated on Sunday. Three services were held in the church, and each drew a large congregation.. The morning and evening services were conducted by the Rev, Joseph W. Kemp, and the afternoon meeting, at which the work of the primary department was specially prominent, was addressed bv Principal North, D.D.. of the Baptist' College. The singing of the scholars, under the leadership of Mr, Warnock Watson, reached a high standard, evidencing careful preparation. Last evening a tea for scholars and Bible Class members was held, followed by a public meeting, when an interesting programme of musical items was given. _ Mrs. _S, Barry presented the prizes gained during the year, and Mr. C. E. Turley, the superintendent, outlined a progressive programme for the ensuing year. Generous offerings were received at all meetings, and will be devoted to extension work.

Xew Zealand Baptist Missionary Society, Miss Bush has been identified with the Tabernacle Church and Sunday schooi 'York for-many years. She was presented with a travelling rug by the scholars as a token of their esteem.
