REFEREES' ASSOCIATION,
ANNUAL MEETING HELD.
Mr. C. F. Paull preided at the annual meeting of the Auckland Kugby Referees' Association last night, the attendance being 57.
Although there had been at first a little difiiculy ill the interpretation of the international rules which had been reverted to. as tiie season advanced these were overcome-
The outstanding match of the year had been Australia v. New Zealand at Eden Park, controlled by Mr. S. Hollander, of Christchurch. Mr. C. F. Paull officiated in the match Australia v. Waikato and King Country.
The cordial feelings between the as?r,ciation and the Auckland Rugby Union, which had existed for many years, were maintained.
The election of officers resulted as follows : —President, Mr. F. E. Sutherland ; vice-president, Mr. J. G. C. Wales; treasurer, Mr. G. Peace: executive members, Messrs. C. F. Paull, A. A. Lucas, L. Rigliton ; examination committee, Messrs. A. Paull, ,T. G. Gasparich, I). V. Moore; representative on Rugby Union management committee, Mr. M. Kronfeld; member of the appointment board, Mr. G. Grigg; representative on the junior management board, Mr. A. M. Mackay ; vice-president of the New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association, Mr. P. Mackie; representative to the. New Zealand Rugby Referees' conference, Mr. F. E. Sutherland; decisions' board, Messrs. F. E. Sutherland, A. E. Wetlierilt and A. Paull.
The date of the next annual meeting was changed from the end of the season to a date in March, to be fixed prior to the annual meeting of the Auckland Rugby Union.
