WHANGARE): EVENTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The Whanjjirei Motor Cycle Sports Club held its second hill climb over the weekend. The track is near the Three Mile Bush Road, and offers many difficulties, combining loose metal, cobble stones and pot holes. The bends make the going tricky. There was a large attendance of riders. The officials for the day were: Messrs. G. Allen, H. Webb, D. Garton, S. Kquires, and H. Robbins. Results were as follow :— 250 c.c. Class.—W. Woodgate (Francis Rarngtt), 2s, 33 2-ss. 1; Ben Clapham (8.5.A.), scr., 34 2-ss, 2; H. Beetson (Velocette), scr., 365, 3. Four competed. 350_ c.c. Class.—H. Robbins (Velocette), 31 4-ss, 1; A. Walker (Velocette), 31 4-ss, 2; R. McKenzie (8.5.A.). 32 2-3:5, 3. Six competed. Robbins and Walker tied, and in the run off the former did the climb in 31s. Walker did not finish. Open Class.—A. Walker (Indian Scout), 2s. 31s, 1; H. Squires (Norton), scr., 30 4-ss, 2; H. Robbins (Velocette), 31 l-ss, 3. Twelve competed.
