Unofficial World Conference to
Be Held.
INTERNATIONAL APPROVAL.
i , (Received 11.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, September 3. An unofficial international conference of financial experts will be held in Paris on September 17, under the auspices of the International Chamber of Commerce to study the problem of the depressed Price of silver. Experts have been Invited from ■Britain, France, India, China, Japan, and the United States. It was stated that -the conference had been called, not with a # ny idea of stabilising the price of silver, but to advance, if possible, suggestions to prevent its wide fluctuation. If the conference agrees on recommendations these will be submitted to the council of the International Chamber in •fans on October 23.
